Can I wallpaper around a shower?
Only with a fully waterproof/vinyl product rated for direct wet contact, and only outside the direct spray zone. Check the manufacturer's rating first.
Why does a small bathroom still need 2+ rolls?
Rolls are sold as fixed lengths, and short walls waste more of each roll on off-cuts — small rooms are often less roll-efficient than large ones.
Can I use any wallpaper in a bathroom?
No. Standard paste-the-paper wallpapers absorb moisture and delaminate in bathrooms. Choose a vinyl-coated or non-woven washable paper rated for humid environments. Some manufacturers specify 'suitable for bathrooms' directly. Always use a fungicidal adhesive to prevent mould forming behind the paper.
How many rolls of wallpaper do I need for a small bathroom?
A typical small bathroom of about 2 × 2.5 m with a 2.2 m ceiling, one door, one window, and a bath along one wall usually needs 4–6 rolls with a plain or small-repeat paper.
