Yes — the roll count accounts for pattern repeat and your exact roll size, but always add your own labour and materials markup on top.
Does it handle feature walls and accent panels?
Treat a feature wall as its own wall in the planner and use the actual wall height — you don't need the rest of the room.
Can I estimate several rooms at once?
Not yet in a single batch — plan once per room and sum the results. Batch/multi-room quoting is on our roadmap.
Should I deduct doors and windows from my wallpaper estimate?
Yes, but conservatively. Deduct the full door area. For windows, deduct 30–40% of the window area — strips running alongside or above windows are often only partly usable. On most rooms, this saves 1–2 rolls.
How do I estimate how many rolls of wallpaper I need for a job?
Measure each wall (width and height), get the roll spec from the batch label, add the pattern repeat to your strip cut length, then divide total strips needed by strips per roll. Round up and add one buffer roll. Use a professional wallpaper calculator for multi-room or complex jobs.
Can a professional estimator handle non-standard roll sizes?
Yes — that is one of the main reasons to use one. Enter the actual width and length from the roll label, and the estimator derives the strip yield from those numbers. Wide-format rolls, short rolls, and rolls from international suppliers are all handled correctly.
