Wallpaper Planner is built so most of what you do never has to leave your browser. This page covers the rest: what we collect, why, and who else sees it.
What the planner itself holds
Rooms, walls and wallpaper settings you draw are stored in your browser. If you sign in, they also sync to your account so they follow you to another device. Photographs you use to trace a wall are processed on your device and never uploaded.
What an account holds
Your email address, the country you gave for VAT purposes, and a record of what you've bought. That's it — no profile beyond what a purchase legally requires.
Who else processes it
Payments are handled by Mollie, which sees the payment and not your project. Sign-in links and receipts are sent by Resend. Site analytics run through Google Analytics (GA4) and a first-party event log we operate ourselves, both used to see which pages and features are actually used — neither is sold or shared onward.
Cookies & storage
The planner uses your browser's local storage to keep your projects, and GA4 sets its own analytics cookies. Our own event log uses a session identifier held only in sessionStorage, which clears when you close the tab.
How long we keep it
Deleting your account, from the account page, removes your projects and sign-in details immediately. Invoices are the one exception — Dutch tax law requires sellers to keep them for seven years, and an invoice without a buyer on it isn't a valid invoice.
Your rights
You can see what an account holds and delete it yourself at any time, without asking us first. For anything else — including questions about this policy — use the contact details on the terms & seller information page.
Questions about your data?
Full seller identity, VAT and contact details are kept in one place so they never fall out of sync with your invoice.
